Financial Foundation for Educators

California Jump$tart will provide a no cost, six session workshop, on the topic of Personal Financial Literacy for teachers, K-12, in your school district or county.

California Jump$tart believes the first step in educating our youth about money matters is to teach our educators these skills. Personal Financial Literacy education is more critical than ever before. According to the PwC Educator Survey in 2015, 92% of K-12 educators nationwide believe financial education should be taught in schools but only 12% do. And as of July, 2016, this subject matter has been added in two key areas to the History-Social Science Framework.
